RS232 Kit is an Electronics board that allows you to connect both the Transmit (Tx) and the Receive (Rx) lines of a Personal Computer (PC) Communication Port (COMM. PORT) to microcontroller with TTL device (5Volt) Input and Output (I/O). i.e. connect your PC to 80C51 microcontroller for the purpose of streaming information using the RS232 Protocol. 

 

This unique kit design provides you with three mounting capabilities:

  • Solder the DB9 connector directly to the PCB see drawing (A) left side

  • Solder wire direct to the PCB and mount the PCB using one of the three 1/8" mounting holes. drawing (B) solder side on the right. the PCB slide between the upper and lower pins of the connector.

  • Solder wire connector directly to the PCB and mount board using one of the three 1/8" mounting holes
